Gee, I thought I was the only Lightwave user on the list here
that did't have al those nice expensive devices like a PAR, or a DEC
Aplha but just a relatively simple low end system. It's nice to hear
I'm not alone.
I was also kinda anoyed to hear people yelling at Newtek or
Deskstation for doing things that seem to be good as far as I see.
I would be be very glad if I had an Alpha, even if is was just 128 Bit
or too slow. It's better then what I've got now. We should be glad
that the entire Lightwave community is really gearing up. The way that
SGI is bombarding the CG industry with their astronomical costs is not
something we have to take anymore. And did we all consider that fact
that Microsoft might take over the CG industry also, just like it did
with all other markets. My god, I can't bear the thought.
